**Background:** - displaced antiques
**Main Focus:** - justification of cultural belonging
## 2. Data
**Existing literature:** - e.g., "Records of Modern National Treasures Lost Overseas."
**Digital libraries:** - e.g., ["China Art Digital Library"](https://www.eastview.com/resources/e-collections/china-art-digital-library/)
## 3. Techniques
- natural language processing - image processing - mapping - digitization
## 4. Aims
- mapping - digital archives - NLP connecting lost antiques to historical records
## 5. Values & Ethics
- public awareness of lost antiques - reclaiming power of defining national historical relics - however, be careful of nationalism
## 6. Resources
**Required Technology:** - Cartographic representation necessary for the mapping step - AI text analyzing model trained on reading Simple and Classical Chinese is required - AI trained to take information from digital libraries (also need to unify metadata)
**Labor Force:** - Website builders required for building the digital archive - Historians to cooperate with NLP AIs
**Other:** - May need to negotiate with different museums to obtain copyright
## 7. Workplan
**Repeated Main Process:** - 1-find all Chinese antiques collections from worldwide museums (automized) - 2-mark them in a world map - 3-construct a digital archive of the antiques found and unify the metadata - 4-search for the earliest records of each antique in Chinese history using NLP trained based on Classical Chinese
**Possible Further Steps:** - obtain 3D-printed models of antiques unavailable domestically - better visualization of the digital archive utilizing image clustering (or train AI to identify antique's dynasty..?)
